Nonprofit & Association Website Support

Nonprofits and Associations: We “Get It”

FatLab, LLC founder, Shane Larrabee, often says he “grew up” in Washington, DC, despite having spent his childhood in Seattle, Wa. Straight out of college, Shane began working for large communications agencies with a heavy nonprofit and association client bases. This trend coninued throughout his career.

In addition our Managing Director, Ritz Penaranda, spent over 14 years as an assocaiton web project manager for an organization in downtown Washington, DC before joining FatLab in 2016. Today FatLab has a large percentage of its clients in the nonprofit/association space.

We Work for some Great Organizations

Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA)

fpsaFPSA retained FatLab at the start of 2016 and has already renewed for 2017 to maintain 2 major websites, including the association’s main site and their dedicated trade show site. FatLab hosts and maintains dedicated hosting infrastructure for FPSA and remains on call for any issue that may arise with either site. In addition to working through technical issues with the regular development team, FatLab also provides a dedicated project manager to FPSA who helps maintain work flow, assists in content updates and day to day strategy.

dolores alonso“We could not be happier than we are with FatLab. They remain responsive to each and every request and have acted immediately when any technical issue has arisen. FatLab put together a unique plan just for us and did so at a flat monthly rate, which makes budgeting easier. We look forward to working with FatLab for years to come.”

The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS)

abfprsABFPRS has been a client of FatLab since 2011 and like many others a client of Shane Larrabee’s (FatLab, LLC founder) for over 10 years before that. The ABFPRS is a medical association serving thousands of facial plastic surgeons all over the world and the public who utilize their services. FatLab and ABFPRS have created, launched and maintained several websites and online initiates throughout the years. Such endeavors have included bringing membership dues online, certification directories and even an online practice examination for surgeons seeking certification. FatLab maintains all digital assets for the ABFPRS, hosts their site and remains on call for support, website maintenance and regular consulting.

missy harp“The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), a medical certification organization, does not have the technical resources in-house to manage our web presence. We rely on FatLab to help keep our website up to date, consult on best practices and ensure it remains online and stable for our membership and the public. “

Update (10/22/16): Ana Penaranda enjoyed working with us so much that in October 2016 she joined FatLab, LLC full time as a Managing Director. Now that is a great client relationship! But don’t worry we don’t make it habit of stealing our client’s top talent.

ana penaranda“SOCMA has partnered with Shane Larrabee of FatLab, LLC for the management of our many websites and digital assets for over 12 years. From builds, to dedicated infrastructure, to day-to-day support.
